Though the 14 Mile House has seen its share of changes, it remains a significant part of Citrus Heights’ history.

Events that the city has are Sunday FunDay, which occurs on the 4th Sunday of every September and includes things like pony rides, music, food, and inflatables.
Hot August Bites is another event, modeled after the Hot August Nights from Reno, Nevada. This event includes free swimming in the Rusch pol, live music, food trucks, car shows, and a beer garden.
The Christmas Tree Lighting is held on the first Thursday of December, and as the name implies, attendees can participate a tree lighting ceremony which is followed with things like cookie decorating, hot cocoa, pictures with Santa, and so much more!
Other notable events include the Spaghetti Feed, the Bella Vista Community Show, Veterans Picnic, Walmart Concert, Battle of the Bands, and a Howl O’ Ween parade.
